This project marked another consecutive paid internship in interior design, completed before obtaining my architecture degree, in collaboration with MA-AMOBLAMIENTO.
It presented a significant challenge due to space and budget constraints. Consequently, a highly functional and space-efficient layout was crucial, achieved without sacrificing innovation or aesthetics. A specific goal was to design an attractive suspended low ceiling that incorporated decorative elements. The main inspiration for concept creation came from traditional and picturesque Portuguese markets.
My responsibilities extended beyond just visualization. I actively participated in furniture design and construction, gaining valuable skills in those areas alongside the core design process. While I presented the initial design proposal, the workshop team further refined the furniture specifics for enhanced functionality and precise detailing.
